This is really a great lunch time series love it.
I’m not really a Japanese car guy, but Rebecca’s wagon may have me second guessing that. I dig the wheel/tire mods on that car A LOT. That chandelier is kinda perfect also.
The chandelier is definitely on point especially when taking her apparent personality.
When I grew up in the 60’s every family had a station wagon. The ultimate test of a station wagon was “Can you put a sheet of 4ft x 8ft plywood flat in the back and close the tailgate?” Bonus for 3 or more sheets of 3/4 inch.
My first car was a 69 Buick Skylark station wagon. We called it “The Golden Whale”. Two sons learned to drive in it. I sold it with 210,000 miles on the original engine.
These pre-71 oil crisis American cars were built like tanks with heavy gauge steel, body and bumpers.
mine was the “Blue Whale”– 1966 Pontiac Tempest Wagon , with a “Keep On Truckin’ ” decal on the back. only had AM so I added a cassette deck and a giant speaker in the back.
This is a really fun series. Thank you Magnus and Hagerty!
Believe ist or not. In Germany everybody drives a Station Wagon.
Only very, very old people and the east european mafia drives sedan.
Man magnus just seems like a rad dude to grab a beer with
This series should be called “Destroying niche markets”
๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐ค
He cant possibly destroy all of them. The more videos he makes, the less likely they are to blow up a market. Plus it usually takes more than one video to over inflate a cars price. There were tons of vids on the 944 before it blew up.
At least itโs better than Demuro and Hoovie who announce a future classic 5 years after the prices have already skyrocketed
stay mad

W123….And a wagon!
The convergence of goodness.
Wow, this was a lot deeper than I expected. I appreciated how they went further than the car. That was proper especially when it comes to wagons
Rebecca made me smile when she said “The feeling of not being good at something and then learning to be satisfactory at it and being capable of taking care of myself.” That was just simply awesome.
“Old wagons” are awsome! Especially 50s n 60s American wagons!
Your last statement is 100% truth. I’m always asked “what would be a good car to restore?” and I tell them “The car you absolutely love, because they all cost money in the end”
Magnus, ” How is it going up the hill at Big Bear.” Tim “It’s about the same as you going to the barber.” Ain’t gonna happen very fast.
“I think there is a lot about being born female and being in a car club” righteous. I agree…
Ben’s Toyota is on another level with 2 rear wipers ๐
Iโva crashed into a sedan one in the past. Man these things are tanks. My old EP3 was totaled (I almost died) while the Merc only suffered a fender bender LOL

The “S” gearbox programme stands for “Steigung” which means slope. The car will only shift into third gear.
The world desperately needs to kick out suv for wagons!
I wouldnโt mind swapping my e39 sedan for a e39 wagon
The Volvo wagon should have been killing it in this video.
